Picture of the day for June 14th, 2009 - Seagull with one leg at Broadway at the Beach

I kinda felt sorry for this seagul, he seemed like a fine young chap letting me get so close to take his picture. He never really flinched at all. Not exactly sure how he lost his leg but he didn't see to have a problem flying in and landing on a perch. Walking along the beach once in awhile you will notice a seagull or two with a missing leg. The mystery will remain with this guy as to why he lost one leg and it is for us to wonder.
