Picture of the day for June 22nd, 2009 - Clearing softball fields, making new ones

This is the current scene at the softball fields off of Myers Ave. in Myrtle Beach. There were two softball fields where this land has been cleared. The land is being cleared to make room for the new softball and baseball fields along with a new park off of Myers Ave and in the Withers Preserve area. There will be a total of 8 ball fields along with a park area. You can see the plans for this park at the Warbird Park off of Farrow Parkway, or in the lobby of the Crabtree Gym across the road from the ball fields.
